Know Your Number Campaign |

Diabetes SA Pretoria branch is currently running a “Know Your Number Campaign”. We would like to encourage all employers to have their staff members tested for diabetes. We are targeting schools in Pretoria and would like to test the teachers and staff members at schools and come and do an informative talk on diabetes and how to deal with a diabetic child in the classroom. |

Our branch serves the following areas in South Africa: Northern part of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo Province and Venda. Pretoria branch is run by volunteers. The branch assists the North Rand Branch of Diabetes South Africa, which has its offices in Tembisa.
Our branch chairman, Mariaan Marais, serves on the Diabetes SA National Management Board and is also a member of the National Government Task Team.
Our branch committee comprises of: Chairman - Mariaan Marais; Secretary - Fanti Holtshauzen; Webmaster - Gail Purchase; Additional Members - Wim Stolz, Maureen Marais, Ria De Vos, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Louise and Alan Pywell |
